Vicarious excretion of contrast medium to small intestine in a dog with Toxocara canis infection

چکیده

A male mixed-breed dog of unknown age was presented with a history bloody diarrhea and cachexia. Toxocara canis in vomitus identified by parasitologist. Hematology revealed low hematocrit, eosinophilia, albumin. Computed tomography (CT) an enlarged pulmonary artery irregular wall, micronodules the lung, vicarious excretion contrast medium to small intestine. CT scan helpful for identifying lung lesions central organs larval migration also show intestine T. infection.
